How these warrior cat names are built
Names in the style of the Warriors series have two halves. The first is given at birth and describes the kit’s look or the moment of birth (Cinder: dark grey; Storm: born in a storm; Puddle: born after rain). The second changes with rank: -kit for kits, -paw for apprentices, a descriptive suffix for warriors (-claw a fighter, -whisker sensitive, -stream a swimmer) and -star for leaders.
This generator uses forty original first halves and thirty warrior suffixes, each glossed, so Sorrelstream is a tortoiseshell swimmer and Adderfang is quick to strike and a fighter. Clan names take an element or landmark plus Clan.
The canonical Clans and every named cat from the books are blocked, so the names you roll are your own.

Why do warrior names have two parts?
The first part is the birth name and stays for life; the second marks rank. A kit named Fernkit becomes Fernpaw, then perhaps Fernshade, then Fernstar if she leads her Clan.
