Khajiit Name Generator

Khajiit names carry a title before the apostrophe and a meaning after it. Every result here glosses both, so the name introduces the character properly.

How these khajiit names are built

Khajiit names in the style of the setting are two things joined by an apostrophe: an honorific that describes the cat’s stage of life or trade, and a personal name that is soft, feline and a-heavy. This generator builds the personal name from an inventory of r, j, z, sh and k with open syllables, and adds one of twelve honorific prefixes, each glossed (Ja’ young adult; Dro’ grandfather; Ra’ respected; Dar’ thief).

Personal-name endings add a second gloss: -ir (hunter), -zin (clever), -dar (trader) for males; -ri (moon-touched), -sha (clever), -ina (sweet) for females; -ra (swift) for either. Epithets place the character in a caravan or a habit (of Many Roads, Sugar-Tooth, Silent-Paw).

The honorifics here follow the setting’s general convention but are original in their glosses and assignments; named characters from the games are blocked.
